The account number allotted to you is in inactive status to avoid any unauthorized transactions. Transaction will be allowed post activation of your account after completion of account opening formalities. In case the documents submitted along with the application do not comply with the KYC guidelines of the bank, the application is liable to be rejected and the bank will not be liable to pay any interest on the amount of deposit & the refund of amount deposited in the account will be refunded to you.
This facility is currently available to open a resident savings account only. Please note corporate salary, NRI & Current Accounts cannot be opened through this.Also BSBDA Savings Accounts cannot be opened through the on line account opening process.
The My Account My Number – Account number chosen by you will remain available for 15 days from the date of selecting the account number, In case the account does not get opened within 15 days the account number will not be available for the customer.

The particulars contained herein shall be valid for all accounts opened by me/us or to be opened by me/us hereafter either singly or with other(s) and/or by me/us in any representative capacity with the Bank unless informed to you otherwise. I/We understand that the Bank may at it absolute discretion, discontinue any of the Services completely or partially without any notice to me/us. I/We agree that the Bank may debit my account for service charges as applicable from time to time.
I/We understand that investment products are not bank objects or other obligations of or guaranteed or insured by IndusInd Bank Ltd. or their affiliates. All new to bank customers can fund their account online, using any Indian Visa/Master Debit Card or from specific list of Net Banking/Payment Gateway options. The customer has option to fund between Rs 10000/- to Rs 100000/- . The amount will be credited into customer account post account activation and basis availability of clear funds.
In case the account is not activated within 15 days, full amount will be credited back to the customer and Bank is not liable to pay any interest on the amount if returned back to customer due to any reason. Refund process may take 6-8 additional working days.
Interest on the amount funded online will be paid from the date of account activation on availability of clear funds.
While transferring funds through online mode(s), the bank will not accept any responsibility or liability of whatsoever nature in respect of any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly to the customer out of the decline due to:
lack of authorization for any transaction/s,
or exceeding the preset limit mutually agreed by the customer and his/her remitting "Bank(s)",
or any payment issues arising out of the transaction,
or decline of transaction for any other reason/s.

Cheque books are issued to all Savings accounts customers.
The Net Banking, Phone Banking and Payment Gateway access, if applied for, is applicable for all Accounts, existing or to be opened in future.
Customer can avail Alerts Services to receive transaction details/information relating to your Bank account through SMS on the mobile number registered with the Bank
All accounts will be opened in the same combination as provided in the Account Opening From by the Customer.
All account(s) existing or to be opened in future will get the account statement as per Account Statement Option chosen in this Account Opening From / as per the Bank policy from time to time.
The age considered for Minor is blow 18 years; for Senior Citizens as 60 years & above.
All alerts, e-newsletter and promotional mails will be sent to the preferred mobile number and e-mail ID.
Details of gifts for online funding will be also sent on your registered mobile number

Violent or other offensive, obscene or indecent material

Bigotry, racism, hatred, profanity or obscenities
Alcohol, tobacco, gambling, firearms or pharmaceutical products
Images that show illegal or anti-social behaviour
Culturally or socially insensitive images
Images that display the opinions or beliefs of political groups, religious groups or socially unacceptable groups (e.g. political images, neo-Nazi images, gangs)
Libellous or defamatory content, or content which is otherwise in violation of any rules, regulations or laws to which the images are subject
Content not acceptable for persons under 18 years old.
The Image gallery provided is subject to change as per the Bank policy from time to time.
The final decision on printing of the image on the debit card lies with the bank. In case a picture is not found suitable then the bank holds the right to print the alternate picture selected by a customer.
Photo used on the image card needs to have the image of the card owner. Bank reserves the right to reject the photograph if the same does not match with the one provided with the account opening form. The bank will not be held responsible in case of any non- acceptability of the debit card due to non -presence of the image of the card holder.
Apart from the above ,the savings account opened shall be goverened by the General Terms and conditions of the Savings account and Fixed deposits available on www.indusind.com
For "I am an existing customer journey" - Full KYC FD and CA authorised signatory will get access to full KYC account, full KYC PL customer will get a full KYC account without a cheque book and a limited KYC FD account will get access to limited KYC SA account.
